Indeed, this autumn marks an important moment in the life of Lux Resorts and Hotels that have just announced the reopening of their property situated on the South Ari Atoll. The resort was closed for a major renovation and it seems that it will soon be ready to receive its guests once again.

The new and improved Lux Resort will have 193 pavilions and villas of which 49 villas will be destined exclusively to adults. Each of these villas will be equipped with its own private pool and they will be situated on the eastern side of the island.

On the west side of the island, tourists will have access to 38 water villas, as well as 105 beach villas and a two-bedroom Lux villa.

All villas have received a new design and new restaurants and bars have been added, including the Beach Rouge lounge bar. The Beach Rouge is a new beach-club concept launched by LUX, first seen at LUX Belle Mare in Mauritius. There will be no less than seven restaurants at the LUX Resort, including an Asian-themed East Market and five bars.

The activities at the resort have also been reinvented and new facilities have been added, including a junk art studio and a photography workshop.

The new spa center will invite guests to relax while enjoying Zen-inspired experiences, unwind in a lagoon-view relaxation area and experience wellbeing activities such as yoga, Pilates, meditation, Thai chi and Qigong.

The resort is going to open on September 1st, 2016, and the company has big plan for the launch party.
